NO FCRA USE. This is a private website with no local, state, or federal government affiliation. It and its advertising partners do not provide a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify Putnam County and Florida criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation business nor a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This private reference site operates independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor obtains records, conducts official checks, or files papers on a user's behalf.
Its content identifies Putnam County custodians, including the sheriff's records unit and criminal courts, as well as the FDLE Division of Criminal Justice Information Services repository and Florida Sexual Offender/Predator Registry. Some links lead to outside research tools.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools
- Violate federal, Florida, or local law
- Threaten, stalk, or harass anyone with information encountered here
- Make FCRA-regulated credit, insurance, employment, or housing decisions
- Attempt unauthorized system access
- Disrupt performance or prevent others from accessing the service
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate. Some conduct may also be criminal. Florida registry information is provided for public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or discriminatory action, and misuse against a registrant can carry statutory penalties.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create consumer reports, credit files, or background checks. Its advertising partners are not presented as providers for regulated eligibility decisions. Information here or in a linked tool must not be used to:
- Evaluate a person for employment or termination
- Assess an applicant for a lease or housing
- Set insurance terms or evaluate credit
- Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
- Make any other decision governed by the FCRA
A regulated-purpose check must come through an authorized FDLE channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA and other applicable law.
5. No Legal Advice
General descriptions of Putnam County records are not legal advice and cannot determine how a warrant, charge, conviction, sealing rule, or expunction rule applies to a specific matter. Individual advice should come from a licensed Florida lawyer.
6. No Warranties
All material and functions are offered "as is," without a guarantee that:
- Information will always be current, complete, or accurate
- Access will be continuous or uninterrupted
- Pages will contain no defects, vulnerabilities, or errors
- Partner search results will be accurate or comprehensive
Charges, outcomes, sealing, expunction, and agency procedures can change. Gaps and delays are possible, and no content here is an official statement of a court, sheriff, or government agency.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links to sheriff offices, courts, Florida agencies, legal-aid organizations, and search providers lead to independently controlled services. Their content, availability, fees, data practices, and terms are their responsibility. Review the outside provider's rules before use.
8. Intellectual Property
Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Putnam County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative work requires prior written permission.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is disclaimed for damages arising from use of the website or reliance on information supplied here or by a linked service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless against claims, demands, and proceedings caused by your use or breach of these terms, including associated legal fees and costs.
11. Governing Law
Florida law governs these terms, including applicable principles of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Fla. Stat. §501.204. Any dispute concerning website use must be brought in a court located in Florida. Florida Public Records Law, Chapter 119, and Fla. Stat. §943.053 govern government records and FDLE dissemination; they do not make this private site a government custodian.
12. Changes to These Terms
Revised terms may be posted at any time and take effect when published on this page.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be limited or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.
14. Severability
If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.
15. Questions
Questions concerning these conditions may be sent through the Contact page.
